President Rodrigo Roa Duterte officially welcomed Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad of Malaysia in a ceremony at the Malacañan Palace Grounds for the latter’s three-day Official Visit to the Philippines.

After the welcome ceremony, President Duterte accompanied the Malaysian Prime Minister inside the Palace for the guest book signing.

Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad arrived in the Philippines on March 6, 2019. He was accorded with military honors and was received by top government officials. This is his first visit to the country since being reelected as Malaysia’s highest leader in 2018.
