Commencing the 27th celebration of the EDSA People Power Revolution, former President Fidel V. Ramos laid a ceremonial wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in the Libingan ng mga Bayani to honour the civilian and military forces who sacrificed their lives in fight for democracy. The then Armed Forces of the Philippines Vice Chief-of-Staff, President Ramos stands as one of the witnesses in the 1986 bloodless uprising that redefined the country’s history.
