Taguig City
28 January 2016
Their Majesties Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko of Japan paid a visit at the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Japanese Language Training Center in Taguig City.
After a briefing on the center’s facilities, the Imperial couple interacted with students of a Nihongo class, most of whom were candidates of becoming nurses and caregivers in Japan.
The Japanese Language Training Center in TESDA was organized through the Japan-Philippines Economic Partnership Agreement (JPEPA), an initiative of the Philippine and Japanese government that was forged on December 2008.
