President Benigno S. Aquino III  visits 26-year old Police Senior Inspector June Paulo Abrazado, aide of Interior and Local Government Sec. Robredo and lone survivor of the crash, in his recuperation room at the Masbate Doctors Hospital.

Abrazado was found and rescued by fishermen shortly after the plane crash around 5 pm yesterday (Saturday) in the sea water of Bgy. Ibingay, Masbate City. It was apparently an effort to make an emergency landing at Masbate Airport.

He narrated to the President how they experienced engine trouble, causing the pilot to turn around and decide to head back to Cebu but the plane never made it. He said he was knocked off upon impact but instantly regained consciousness before the water drowned him. According to Abrazado, his last reaction was an embrace to protect Sec. Robredo before the plane took a nosedive towards the sea.

The four-seater plane was manned by Captain Jessup Bahinting with Nepalese flight student Kshitiz Chand.
