Western Mindanao Command, Zamboanga City

President Rodrigo Roa Duterte paid a visit to the 16 soldiers who were wounded-in-action during encounters in Basilan and Sulu at Camp Navarro General Hospital inside the Western Mindanao Command in Zamboanga City.

He also led the conferment of the Wounded Personnel Medal (WPM) to three soldiers, namely SSg. Jose Duyogan, Sgt. Michael Esic, and PFC Sherwin Leonard Baradero.

The visit followed after his talks with the uniformed personnel of the Western Mindanao Command.
