Today’s segment of USWAG, Pinas! Special Edition features the ‘We Vax as One: Mobile Vaccination Drive’ at the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX), a five-day vaccination drive spearheaded by the Department of Transportation (DOTr) and Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) with the goal of inoculating workers in the transport industry as well as commuters with the first, second and booster shots of COVID-19 vaccines.

Derived from the Bisayan term ‘uswag’ which means progress, this special edition of the social media program aims to inform viewers about the ongoing mass immunization in different communities across the nation, the tireless efforts of health care workers and medical frontliners in battling the public health crisis, and interviews from inoculated Filipinos and medical experts on the benefits of getting the jab to further boost vaccine confidence amongst the people.

USWAG, Pinas! Special Edition is a flagship program of the Presidential Broadcast Staff – Radio Television Malacañang (RTVM).
