Today’s segment of USWAG, Pinas! Special Edition highlights the ongoing vaccination program in Cebu City as the local government and medical frontliners strive to achieve population protection against the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), especially with the emergence of new variants of the virus and the imposition of Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ) in the City.

Derived from the Bisayan term ‘uswag’ which means progress, this special edition of the social media program aims to inform viewers about the ongoing mass immunization in different communities across the nation, the tireless efforts of healthcare workers and medical frontliners in battling the public health crisis, and interviews from inoculated Filipinos and medical experts on the benefits of getting the jab to further boost vaccine confidence amongst the people.
