In 2010, Tokyo Sky Tree became the tallest broadcasting and observatory tower in Japan reaching 634 meters in height, exceeding Tokyo Tower’s 333 meters.
The tower has a structure similar to a tripod that rises in a cylindrical shape to give a panoramic view of the river and the city. It is also equipped with seismic proofing that includes a shaft made of reinforced concrete.
With its completion in 2011, Japan has shifted from analog to digital data signal supplied by Tokyo Tower.
