The Tokyo Skytree is one of the city’s popular attractions, having both an entertainment and shopping area. It is also one of the world’s tallest free-standing broadcast tower standing at 634 meters tall.

As a tower, the Skytree transmits digital terrestrial broadcasting that has been used since December 2003. It is also expected to function as a tower with disaster prevention during natural disasters.

Just beside the Tokyo Skytree is the unusual architectural wonder of Tokyo, the Asahi Beer Hall. It is popular with tourists as the structure is formed in the shape of a giant beer mug complete with a foam shaped roof.

Aside from the beer mug, the Asahi Beer Hall also attracts onlookers with its shorter building in the shape of a beer glass with an enormous golden flame perched on top of it.

Asashi is one of Japan’s biggest beverage companies producing beer, softdrinks, food and pharmaceutical products.
