Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin led the awarding of The Outstanding Young Men (TOYM) 2022 in a ceremony at the President’s Hall in Malacañan Palace.

The Executive Secretary, who was a former active member of the Junior Chamber International (JCI) Philippines, delivered the keynote address urging the 2022 TOYM awardees to continue their good work in their respective fields.

“Let not this award ceremony be your finish line of your many years of hard and painstaking work in your respective fields and advocacies. Our country desires you to continue individually in the fields you have been recognized today. Better still, I urge you to act as one group of inspiration and motivators for others,” Executive Secretary Bersamin said.

The awarding ceremony concluded with a photo opportunity with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

From 117 entries and nominations submitted nationwide, the nominees were narrowed down to 21. After much evaluation, 10 honorees were selected based on their leadership and invaluable contributions in their respective fields.
