Doha, Qatar

A country with a rich cultural heritage and abundant gas reserves, The Golden Mosque is an embodiment of Qatar’s prosperous economy. Located along the Katara cultural village in the West Bay of Doha, the elegant interiors and gilded tiles of the mosque never fail to attract spectators from all over region.
Grand as it may look, The Golden Mosque is considerably a small place of worship with a rounded minaret. The simplicity of its structure is stirred by Prophet Muhammad’s philosophy.
In the Philippines, a namesake of The Golden Mosque can also be found in the Quiapo district. The Manila Golden Mosque or the Masjid Al-Dahab is said to be the biggest mosque in Metro Manila, which serves as the main place of worship for the Mulsim communities residing in the capital city of the Philippines.
