President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. visited the 6th Infantry Division (ID) of the Philippine Army (PA) stationed at Camp Siongco in Sinsuat, Maguindanao.

In his message, the President updated the troops on the government’s peace and development efforts with the latest inauguration of the Bangsamoro Transition Authority (BTA) 2022-2025, and called on their support towards achieving lasting peace in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).

The President also inspected the high-powered firearms surrendered by the rebel returnees to the Philippine Army.
