President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. concluded his visit to Palawan by addressing the troops following a situation briefing during his visit at the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Western Command (WESCOM) in Puerto Princesa.

“In comparison doon sa mga ibang nakakatagpo natin doon sa West Philippine Sea, ay kahit na maliit lang ang naihaharap natin na pwersa ay maganda naman ang nagiging resulta dahil kahit papaano ay nagagawa natin, nagiging maliwanag hindi lamang sa Pilipinas kundi sa buong mundo na tayo ay hindi tayo papayag na basta’t kukunin sa atin ang teritoryo ng Pilipinas,” the Commander-in-Chief remarked, as he lauded the WESCOM for its crucial role as the primary defender of the country’s western frontier and its significant achievements towards achieving peace in Palawan.

“Keep up the good work, congratulations for the achievements that you have made already in terms of holding the line and we for our part, nandito po, nandito kami upang tulungan kayong lahat,” he further expressed, reassuring the troops of the Administration’s commitment in supporting the Armed Forces for all their needs, including the Modernization Program.
