It is collaborative and multi-stakeholder in nature where participants can share experiences and initiatives in protecting the planet and contributing to sustainable and inclusive development, such as a sustainable recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic, among others.
Bearing the theme, ‘Stockholm+50: a healthy planet for the prosperity of all — our responsibility, our opportunity,’ the event takes place in commemoration of 50 years of the 1972 United Nations Conference on the Human Environment, where environment was made a pressing global issue for the first time.
