President Benigno S. Aquino III held a toast in honor of Myanmar President Thein Sein in a State Luncheon held in Malacañang.
In his brief statement, President Aquino said that he is confident that under President Sein’s leadership, both countries will make progress in achieving their economic integration goals on 2015.
“We are proud to be your partners as you continue to realize our shared aspiration for your people and our region, and look forward to witnessing your people fulfill their potential as you tread the road to progress,” he added.
