Prof. Dr. Kamarulzaman Askandar, coordinator for Research and Education for Peace at Universiti Sains Malaysia (REPUSM), shared his thoughts to the participants of the Consolidation for Peace for Mindanao (COP6) on what has transpired and achieved so far in the previous COPs in terms of ushering lasting peace in conflict-torn Muslim Mindanao.

Dr. Askandar is also a regional coordinator for the Southeast Asian Conflict Studies Network (SEACSN).
