President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. convened the local chief executives of Cavite to assess the damages caused by Tropical Storm ‘Paeng’ in the Province during a situation briefing in Noveleta, Cavite.

The outcome of the briefing included the estimated costs of agricultural damages in Cavite which currently stands at PhP260 million but is expected to increase as more reports are still coming in. The briefing also discussed plans for the repair of damaged infrastructure, particularly in residential areas.

President Marcos Jr. said that Caviteños would receive assistance from the national government as they begin to rebuild their homes.
