The Avenue des Champ Élysées in Paris, France has been described as the “world’s most beautiful avenue.’ The two-kilometer stretch between the Place de la Concorde and the Arc de Triomphe has been a favorite strolling site for tourists and Parisians alike.
Lined up along sides of the street are luxurious boutiques from famous high-end brands (Louis Vuitton, Mont-Blanc, Guerlain, Ferrari etc.), flagship stores (Banana Republic, Abercrombie, Sephora etc.) and restaurants (Hard Rock Café, l’Atelier Renault, Ledoyen etc.)
The avenue is also the setting for Bastille Day military parade, the arrival of the Tour de France and the Christmas lights. The Champ Élysées also offers museums in Paris: the Grand Palais, the Petit Palais, the Palais de la Découverte and the Espace Culturel Louis Vuitton.
Finally, a climb to the top of Arc de Triomphe offers a stunning view of the city of Paris.
