The APEC International Media Center is located in the Humanitarian Sciences Building (No. 24) of the Far Eastern Federal University on Russky Island, Vladivostok.

There are over 500 workplaces for the press media and is fully equipped with desktop computers, printers, copiers and phones for the use of around 2,000 Russian journalists and foreign delegations.

The area for the electronic mass media journalists includes TV and radio booths. The center’s internal TV network has a special information channel, which will broadcast the latest information from the APEC Leaders’ Week events and provide information about upcoming events.

There are five briefing rooms in the press center where results of the meetings during the APEC Leaders’ Week are being given.

There is also an exhibition area located on the center’s 3rd and 5th floors showcasing Russia’s forthcoming events like the 2014 Winter Olympics in the city of Sochi and the 2018 Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) World Cup.

It is open 24 hours a day and free meals are provided to press members at the center’s 11th floor all day round.

A shuttle bus network operates 24 hours a day, connecting the campus, Vladivostok city center, Knevichi International Airport and the main areas of media accommodation.
