President Rodrigo Roa Duterte inspected the newly constructed community center of the Bahay Pag-Asa Phase 2 project and one unit of its house model in a series of events during his Marawi visit since the city had been liberated from the Maute terrorist group back in November last year.

The one-hectare housing complex will give rise to 60 housing units, equipped with kitchen, toilet and bath facilities. The housing complex will have its own water facilities, power connections, community center, volleyball court, parking lot, children’s playroom and learning center, and a ‘Hardin ng Lunas’ for vegetable and herbal plants.

The housing complex was funded through the donation of the Tarlac Heritage Foundation Inc. and the Chinese-Filipino Business Club, Inc. in partnership with the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).
