Department of Agriculture (DA) Secretary William Dar of the Philippines and Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries (MOF) Minister Seong-Hyeok Moon of the Republic of Korea (ROK) ink a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on Cooperation in Fisheries between the Philippines and South Korea at the National Institute of Fisheries Science (NIFS) in Busan, South Korea on November 26, 2019.

After the signing ceremony, DA Secretary Dar is given a guided tour to the facilities in the NIFS, Korea Fisheries Resources Agency, and Fisheries Monitoring Center, as well as an on-board experience in the Fisheries Guidance Boat.

Joining Secretary DAR are Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) Assistant Director Drusila Esther Bayate, Agriculture Attaché Maria Alilia Maghirang, and DA Head Executive Assistant Alexander Arizabal.
