President Rodrigo Roa Duterte witnessed the signing and turnover of the deed of donation from the Liong Tek Go Family Association, Inc. (LTGFAI) for the Marawi City Rehabilitation at the President’s Hall in Malacañan Palace.

The LTGFAI donated PhP 7 million in cash for the repair and reconstruction of school buildings that were damaged during government operations against the Maute terrorists in Marawi City.

The family, who traces its roots in Tai Bei Kong of Shanxi Province, China, eventually migrated and settled in the Philippines. Since then, the association is actively participating in several charitable works and provides educational, medical, and financial assistance to the poor.
