Seoul, South Korea
June 1, 2018
At the heart of South Korea’s capital of Seoul is the new City Hall located in Taepyeongno, Jung-gu. Built in 2012, this government building houses the administrative affairs of Seoul.
Located just in front of the present City Hall is the original city hall that was built in 1925 and served its functions until the liberation of South Korea in 1945. The building has since been converted into Seoul’s Metropolitan Library.
