Roxas City is one of the areas in Western Visayas violently ravaged by super typhoon “Yolanda” (international name: Haiyan). Stretch of roads were blocked by toppled trees and electric posts. Famous beach resorts, establishments and homes were washed out, leaving thousands of people in dire need of food, shelter and medical supplies.
