President Rodrigo Roa Duterte held a press briefing at the Bay 116 of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 after visiting the remains of the slain PO3 Darwin Espallardo.

“Sometimes we lose in skirmishes but we will win the war,” the President said regarding the recent anti-drug operation where three navy personnel were killed while serving a warrant of arrest to Commander Madrox or Moks Masgal.

Furthermore, the President reiterated his firm campaign against illegal drugs and vowed to name another set of public officials involved in the illegal drug trade.

President Duterte also stressed that a third of the 600,000 people addicted in illegal drugs are beyond rehabilitation due to their constant use of the deadly drugs.
