President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. welcomes His Excellency Karel Hejč, Resident Ambassador-Designate of the Czech Republic to the Philippines, as he formally presents his letter of credence in a ceremony at the Reception Hall in Malacañan Palace on October 24, 2023.

In his message, the Ambassador-Designate expressed the Czech Republic’s continuous commitment to build a strong alliance and partnership with the Philippines based on equality and mutual respect.

In response, President Marcos Jr. expressed optimism towards exploring more areas of cooperation between their two countries.

This year marks the 50th anniversary celebration of the establishment of the Philippines-Czech Republic diplomatic relations.
