President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. formally accepted the letters of credence of Ambassador Christian Halaas Lyster of the Kingdom of Norway and Ambassador Franz-Michael Skjold Mellbin of the Kingdom of Denmark in a ceremony in Malacañan Palace.

Ambassador Lyster formerly served as the Deputy Director General for Security of Norway’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He has also been stationed in different countries including Denmark and Malaysia.

Meanwhile, Ambassador Mellbin served as the Danish envoy to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Permanent Representative to the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) and Commissioner General for Denmark at Expo 2020 Dubai prior to his posting in Manila.
