President Rodrigo Roa Duterte spoke before the Philippine-China Investment Forum at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.

In his speech, the President said that the Philippines is a friend to all and an enemy to no one. He added that the Philippines is a close neighbor and business partner of China.

He expressed his hope that China will help the Philippines. As good payers of debts, the country is more inclined to loan from China.

The President also gave his assurance that Filipinos are people of honor and that they know how to pay their obligations.
