“Cainta, as a first class municipality, is a good example of how fruitful a town becomes when its local officials and constituents unite in achieving progress and prosperity,” said President Rodrigo Roa Duterte when he graced the Partido Demokratiko Pilipino – Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) Proclamation Rally held at the Municipality of Cainta in Rizal.

In his keynote address, the President mentioned a number of accomplishments that will benefit not only the Municipality and the entire Province of Rizal, but in nearby areas as well. These include the Wawa Bulk Water Supply Project, the ongoing construction of the Metro Rail Transit Line 4 (MRT-4) that is now in its detailed architectural and engineering phases, the fight against the trade of illegal drugs, livelihood and employment programs, among others.

“Again, all of these accomplishments are a product of synergy and collaboration between the national and local governments including the people,” he said.

“As we have these things to be grateful for, there is still so much to do to ensure everyone lives the best of life they can live. I am proud to say that the men and women here in Cainta and the Province of Rizal have been instrumental in helping my Administration achieve its goal,” President Duterte continued. The Chief Executive asked all the guests present to support the candidacy of his fellow party-mates under the PDP-Laban in order for the Administration’s initiatives to be continued. “With much confidence, I can say that these leaders will tirelessly work to give you the space and opportunities to reach your full potentials,” President Duterte stated.
