President Rodrigo Roa Duterte endorsed the Partido Demokratiko Pilipino – Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) senatorial and guest senatorial candidates in a campaign rally at the Puerto Princesa City Coliseum in Palawan.

In his speech, President Duterte reiterated the importance of law and order as two (2) of the most important factors for the progress of the country.

“At this time, I am not campaigning. Mamili kayo kung sino ang gusto ninyong Pilipino —wala ako. Pero sabihin ko sa inyo, unless we have law and order – – matapos natin ang Abu Sayyaf, droga, rebelyon, ang komunista — unless we stop graft and corruption maniwala kayo, ten (10) years from now ganito pa rin tayong Pilipino,” the President said.

He also encouraged the people to choose the candidates with excellent qualities to be elected as public servants of the country.

Likewise, he cited the efforts and achievements of the senatorial candidates in fighting several significant issues such as illegal drugs, corruption, and responding to natural calamities.

The PDP-Laban’s senate slate is composed of five (5) candidates and seven (7) guest senatorial candidates for the May 2019 mid-term election.

An estimated crowd of 10,000 gathered in the political campaign and showed their support to the PDP-Laban’s senatorial and guest candidates.
