Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Undersecretary Florita R. Villar gives her opening statement as the 22nd Senior Officials Committee for the ASCC (SOCA) begins at the Iloilo Convention Center (ICC) in Iloilo City on March 6, 2017.

SOCA leaders and delegates from the ASEAN Member States, including Deputy-Secretary General for ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community (ASCC) Mr. Vongthep Arthakaivalvatee, convene for the two-day meeting that aims to build a more socially responsible community within the region to achieve unity among the Southeast Asian countries.
