Months after the Zamboanga City siege, Bohol and Cebu earthquake, and super typhoon Yolanda, President Benigno S. Aquino III led the Filipino nation in a prayer to remember the lives lost to the tragic incidents of 2013.

President Aquino delivered his own prayer to thank God for the strength and resilience of the Filipino people during these calamities, which, unfortunately claimed thousands of lives. Moreover, he asked guidance as the nation moves forward and continues to rebuild a better future.

Representatives from the different religious faiths, government agencies and civil society sectors attended the solemn gathering.
