Official Working Visit to the Kingdom of Spain

President Benigno S. Aquino III will officially commence his visit to Europe and the United States of America by holding an official working visit in Madrid, Kingdom of Spain on September 14 and 15, 2014.
The President will have a series of business calls in the country, and will meet with the Filipino community, Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy and King Felipe VI, who succeeded the throne on June 19 this year following his father’s resignation.
Spain has been a reliable partner of the Philippines in development cooperation for years and the friendship between the two countries is further strengthened by the establishment of the Philippines-Spanish Friendship Day on July 22, 2002.
