President Rodrigo Roa Duterte’s Official Visit
to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam
September 28-29, 2016

 

President Rodrigo Roa Duterte is set to hold a bilateral meeting with President Trần Đại Quang and Prime Minister Nguyễn Xuân Phúc during his two-day official visit in Hanoi, Vietnam.

The visit is expected to strengthen the growing bilateral ties between the Philippines and Vietnam since the formation of a strategic partnership for several areas of cooperation in November 2015. It was in July 12, 1976 when both countries have established formal diplomatic relations.

President Duterte, together with his official delegation, is also scheduled to meet members of the Filipino Community on the first day of his visit.
