Official Visit to New York City, U.S.A. 22-24 September 2014
From a three-nation visit to Europe, President Benigno S. Aquino III heads to the United States of America for an official visit.
After Boston, President Benigno S. Aquino III visits New York City upon the invitation of United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon and US President Barack Obama to attend the UN Climate Summit Plenary on September 23. He is set to speak in the international conference to share the country’s experience on this urgent global concern.
The President is scheduled to have a meeting with CEOs and other senior officials from the US Chamber of Commerce, US-ASEAN Business Council and US-Philippines Society and engage in an open discussion with them.
He will also deliver a policy speech at the World Leaders Forum in Columbia University before leaving for San Francisco, California to Manila the next day.
