Oath-Taking of General Carlito Galvez, Jr. as Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation, and Unity

President Rodrigo Roa Duterte administered the oath-taking of General Carlito Galvez, Jr. as the Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation, and Unity in a ceremony at the Study Room of Malacañan Palace.

Department of National Defense (DND) Secretary Delfin Lorenzana served as a witness in the oath-taking. General Galvez’s wife Marissa and his daughter Mary Frances also joined him in the ceremony.

Prior to his new assignment, General Galvez served as Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Chief-of-Staff before retiring from the military active duty on December 11, 2018.
