Uniting multiple government agencies in a shared mission to uplift the country’s farmers, bring affordable goods to the people, empower local businesses and bring prosperity to communities across the nation, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. witnessed the memorandum of agreement (MOA) signing institutionalizing the establishment of the KADIWA ng Pangulo in local government units (LGUs) nationwide.
He enjoined the agencies that are parties to the MOA to remain steadfast in performing their respective tasks and responsibilities under the agreement, and called on the LGUs to actively take part in the KADIWA ng Pangulo by ensuring the timely delivery of government programs and services that are responsive to the needs of the Filipino people.
The Chief Executive also distributed various government assistance to more than 1,000 beneficiaries, and inspected the KADIWA ng Pangulo booths/stalls and job fair in the Provincial Capitol Grounds in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
The MOA signatories included the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), Department of Agriculture (DA), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Presidential Communications Office (PCO) and Presidential Management Staff (PMS).
