Aiming to solve the country’s power crisis, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. talked with the executives of Ultra Safe Nuclear Corporation and Maxeon in separate meetings during his official visit to Washington, D.C., United States of America.

Ultra Safe Nuclear Corporation, a global leader and vertical integrator of nuclear technologies and services, expressed its interest to bring clean, safe and reliable nuclear energy to the Philippines. It is seriously considering its first nuclear energy facility in Southeast Asia, particularly the Philippines, that will address the series of blackouts that hit various areas in the country.

On the other hand, Maxeon is a global leader in solar innovation. It designs, manufactures and sells advanced SunPower and Maxeon-branded solar panels in more than 100 countries.
