President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. met with the executives of TikTok in San Francisco, California.

TikTok, the leading destination for short-form mobile video, has its global headquarters in Los Angeles and Singapore, additional offices in New York, London, Dublin, Paris, Berlin, Dubai, Jakarta, Seoul and Tokyo.

During the meeting, TikTok’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Shou Chew reported on the platform’s progress in the Philippines. He stated that TikTok currently has over 50 million active users in the country.

In addition to being a social networking platform, TikTok aims to inspire and motivate the younger generation to make a positive impact on the world. The company partners with different organizations that seek to leverage the platform to grow their audience, engage supporters and raise awareness for specific causes.
