Meeting with the Westchinamin Corporation

President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, together with Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Secretary Roy Cimatu and Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) Acting Director Wilfredo Moncano, met with the Westchinamin Corporation at the Music Room in Malacañan Palace.

The Westchinamin Corporation was represented by Chairman of the Board Antonio Marfori, Graciano Calanog, and Joseph Vincent Marfori.

Foreign consultants and partners also joined them during the meeting. Among them were Senior Principal Scientist for Environmental Management BMT Darren Leigh Richardson from Australia, Internal Project Coordinator Wayne Allan Houghton, Eastern Research Mining Group Inc. President Dong Guilin, Fujian Hengrun Investment Co. Ltd. Chairman Lin Chengkeng of China, Cai Wenwei from Pacific Infinity Resources (HK) Ltd., and Frank Chua.
