State Dining Room, Malacañan Palace

President Ferdinand R. Marcos convened with members of the Private Sector Advisory Council (PSAC) and several top officials from the Department of Agriculture (DA) and Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) in a meeting at the State Dining Room in Malacañan Palace.

The Chief Executive led the discussion on recommendations from the private sector regarding agricultural transformation and development in the Philippines, taking into consideration the President’s goal on food security, as well as for agriculture to be one of the most vital backbones of the country’s economy.

The PSAC has been in close cooperation with the Marcos Administration on enhancing capacities and productivity in various sectors such as energy, technology, infrastructure and agriculture, among others.
