President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. held a meeting with the Private Sector Advisory Council (PSAC) – Agriculture Sector at the State Dining Room in Malacañan Palace.

The meeting agenda included recommendations from the PSAC on how to attain food security for the country such as the creation of digital food balance sheets to promote transparency and ensure data-driven policy decision-making.

Together with several industry leaders, Aileen Christel Uygongco-Ongkauko of La Filipina Uy Gongco headed the PSAC Agriculture Sector Group in the meeting.

As concurrent Secretary of Agriculture, President Marcos Jr. led the government side and is accompanied by several Cabinet Secretaries and officials of various agencies in the Executive Branch.
