President Rodrigo Roa Duterte held a meeting with Premier Li Keqiang at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.

Premier Li is the current leader of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China and is said to be responsible for the Chinese government’s shifting of priorities from export-led growth to greater attention on internal consumption. He is the major force behind the implementation of the “comprehensive deepening reforms” in China.

President Duterte is in Beijing for a state visit after his acceptance from the invitation of China.
