President’s Hall, Malacañan Palace

President Rodrigo Roa Duterte witnessed the signing of a Deed of Donation (DOD) and turnover of check worth PhP 5 million by Mr. Robinhood Padilla to the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) at the President’s Hall in Malacañan Palace.

The donation will be allocated for the immediate psychosocial intervention for the children affected by the hostilities in Marawi City.

The DSWD was represented by Undersecretary Emmanuel Leyco who was accompanied by National Defense (DND) Secretary Delfin Lorenzana and Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Chief of Staff General Eduardo Año.

After the signing, the President held a meeting with the said officials together with Trade and Industry (DTI) Secretary Ramon Lopez, as well as the heads and representatives of the Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council (HUDCC), Housing and Land Use Regulatory Board (HLURB), National Housing Authority (NHA), Pagtutulungan sa Kinabukasan: Ikaw, Bangko, Industria at Gobyerno (PAG-IBIG), and Local Water Utilities Administration (LWUA).
