President Rodrigo Roa Duterte warmly welcomed Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) founding Chairman Nur Misuari and his colleagues “to another round of pleasantries in Malacañang.”

The President briefly shared with his Moro brothers and sisters his upcoming visit to Nueva Ecija for the inauguration of a newly constructed drug rehabilitation center, and his plans to go to Lanao del Sur to address the ongoing conflict with the armed Islamist group, the Maute group.

President Duterte last met with Mr. Misuari on November 3, 2016 when he presented him to members of the media at the Rizal Hall of Malacañan Palace.
