In his visit in the province of Pangasinan, President Benigno S. Aquino III met with the local leaders and residents of Urdaneta City. With only a few days left before the national elections, he encouraged the Pangasinenses to vote on leaders who will nurture the opportunities opened in their province.
During his speech, President Aquino referred to some of the government services being made available in the city and its surrounding communities. Among them are the establishment of the Urdaneta Agri-Pinoy Trading Center for this year, the launching of the Improved Agno River Flood Forecasting and Warning System last 2011, and the opening of the Emergency Room Complex of the Region 1 Medical Center last March.
Former Senate President Franklin Drilon joined the President during the event.
