In his visit to the City of Cagayan De Oro, President Benigno S. Aquino III thanked the Cagayanons for their support and cooperation in restoring a culture of transparency and integrity to the government. According to the President, this action reaped positive results to the reforms being implemented by his administration. These include 18 farm to market roads and 27 irrigation projects that benefitted thousands of Cagayanons and residents in several towns of Misamis Oriental.

Earlier, President Aquino visited the City of Marawi in Lanao Del Sur and the Municipality of Balingasag in Misamis Oriental and met with its local leaders and different sectors of the society.
