President Benigno S. Aquino III underscored the administration’s undertakings and milestones in the province of Batangas when he met its local officials and residents in the municipality of San Pascual.

In terms of education, the President underscored that there were already 4,087 constructed and ongoing construction of classrooms in the province under the administration.

President Aquino added that the administration allocated Php 309.89 million for the Health Facilities Enhancement Program, a breakthrough in the country’s health sector.

“Mayroon tayong barangay health stations.

He also remarked that 2.54 million Batangueños are now members of PhilHealth.

In the aspect of business, President Aquino reported that there are 54 companies built in Batangas during his term that provided various job opportunities to the people in the province.

Furthermore, President Aquino spelled out the undertakings of the government to improve the infrastructure in Batangas.

Some of the infrastructure and agricultural projects of the government in Batangas are the newly inaugurated Lipa-Alaminos Road, the Batangas City Bypass Road, four intercropping sites, farm-to-market roads and irrigation.
