President Rodrigo Roa Duterte talked with H.E. Sung Kim, the United States of America (USA) Ambassador to the Philippines, in a meeting at the Music Room in Malacañan Palace.

During the meeting, Foreign Affairs (DFA) Secretary Alan Peter Cayetano, National Defense (DND) Secretary Delfin Lorenzana, National Security Adviser (NSA) Hermogenes Esperon, and Undersecretary Catalino Cuy of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) joined the President.

On the other side, Ambassador Kim was accompanied by USA Embassy in the Philippines Economic Counselor Dave Schnier, Acting Defense Attache Col. Kevin Wolfla, and United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Mission Director Dr. Susan Brems.
