President Benigno S. Aquino III met with the officials of Asian Development Bank (ADB), headed by its President Mr. Haruhiko Kuroda, where they discussed the Philippines’ hosting of the 45th Annual Meeting of the board of governors of ADB, which will be held on March 2 to 5 at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) this year. The event “will provide our country a platform for showing the world the best of what we can offer through our culture, people, products, services and industries.”
The annual gathering of the board of governors of ADB is being participated by finance and economic planning ministers, key policy makers, investment bankers, business leaders and civil society representatives from more than 67 countries, wherein the discussion focuses mainly on the growth and development issues within Asia and the Pacific.
